Fast Track Istanbul Airport

Istanbul Airport’s Fast Track service is one of the most efficient ways to save time, especially during peak hours. Passengers over the age of 18 who hold a biometric passport can use the “Fast Passport Transit System,” which enables quick passage through facial recognition and fingerprint verification. With this system, travelers can complete their passport checks at a total of 30 dedicated fast-track points—16 in arrivals, 10 in departures, and 4 in transit areas.

When passengers reach the control area, their passports are first scanned, followed by biometric matching through facial and fingerprint identification. The entire verification process takes approximately 18–20 seconds. After the system approves the biometric check, passport stamping is performed by airport security personnel. This streamlined process helps passengers avoid long queues and move through the airport quickly.

Premium Service of IST Airport

Istanbul Airport offers premium Fast Track and buggy-assisted services designed for both international and domestic travelers seeking a smoother, more comfortable airport experience. The following Fast Track points are available throughout the terminal:

• Departure Passenger Floor: Two Fast Track lanes are available at Security Gates No. 1 and 2.
• International Passenger Floor: Multiple fast-track checkpoints are located at Security 3 and 7, as well as several passport control gates.
• Arrivals Passenger Floor: Two fast-track passport control points are located on the east and west sides of the terminal.
• Transit Passenger Floor: Two dedicated fast-track gates are available for internal and external transit passengers.

In addition, the airport provides buggy service at specific gold-stop points. On the domestic floor, there are 5 gold buggy stops connecting to gates C, D, and E. On the international floor, 5 separate buggy waiting points are located across from Gate G, allowing travelers to reach their boarding areas quickly and comfortably.
